Introduction:

The term GMO stands for, "Genetically Modified Organisms". GMOs are plants, animals, and more, that have their DNA altered genetically.

Genes from an organism, plant, or animal create GMOs, which are inserted into different organisms. 

In the United States, 70 to 80 percent of the food is a type of GMO.

Some drawbacks of GMOs are:

GMOs may have negative sides on the issue of allergic reactions and superweeds/superbugs problems, additionally, they may also have a problem with long-term health effects on human beings.

The first negative side of GMOs is that they could have the potential to have an unforeseen environmental effect, i.e., the formation of "superweeds" that are resistant to herbicides.

Additionally adding, GMOs might have the potential to change a human being's DNA as well. Resulting in allergic reactions, or even cancer.


GMO foods contain:

GMO foods include vitamin A, vitamin B-2, vitamin B-12 (riboflavin), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and vitamin D.

The benefits of vitamin A include:

Healthier: eyes, immune system health, development and growth, and healthy skin.

The benefits of vitamin b-2 are:

Benefits: to help create energy, to maintain skin, eyes, and the nervous system healthy, and possibly to relieve migraine headaches.

The benefits of vitamin B-12 are:

Benefits: to aid in DNA synthesis, red blood cell health, and nerve function.

The benefits of vitamin C are:

Benefits: in aiding the immune system, wound healing, and skin health.

The benefits of vitamin D:

Benefits: help in maintaining the balance of calcium and phosphate in the body.
